Case study · Retail & E-Commerce

A flash-sale-ready storefront for a fashion and preloved bundle business

Dreammori sells women's tudung and fashion accessories alongside baby goods and branded preloved bundles, split across retail and wholesale buyers. The site needed to run real urgency-driven promotions and serve two very different customer types without becoming two separate stores.

The challenge

Dreammori runs two different businesses through one storefront — everyday retail shoppers buying a single tudung or sale item, and wholesale buyers purchasing bundle lots worth thousands of ringgit — plus time-boxed flash sales that need real urgency without confusing either audience.

The site had to keep both buyer types clear and served without the cost of building and maintaining two separate stores.

What we built

  • Separate navigation for separate buyers — "Retail Tudung," "Wholesales" and "Retail Pyjmas | Kids" sit as distinct top-level nav items, so a bulk buyer and a single-item shopper each land on the catalogue built for them.
  • Real operational constraints stated up front — a shipping notice states orders only ship Monday, Wednesday and Friday with an 11pm cutoff — setting honest delivery expectations before checkout rather than after payment.
  • Strikethrough pricing on every flash-sale item — original and sale prices are shown side by side, which is what actually drives urgency purchases, rather than a vague percentage-off banner.
  • Wholesale bundle listings priced like standard products — branded bundle lots are listed with clear per-lot pricing, letting resellers buy stock the same way retail customers buy single items — no separate quote process needed.
  • A brand philosophy anchoring the value proposition — framing the store as curated affordable fashion rather than a discount clearance bin, supporting perceived value across both retail and bundle buyers.

Design decisions worth noting

Urgency without clutter

the limited-stock banner, flash-sale framing and strikethrough pricing all point at the same trigger — buy now — without stacking multiple competing countdown widgets on one page.

One storefront, three clear doors

rather than building three separate sites for retail, wholesale and kids, distinct nav items act as three doors into one WooCommerce backend, keeping the build simple while the customer experience stays segmented.

The result

Dreammori now runs retail flash sales and wholesale bundle sales through a single, clearly segmented storefront — with honest shipping expectations and pricing that supports both a small impulse buy and a large bundle purchase in the same system.
